Announced on NMMT’s 29th anniversary by Navi Mumbai Municipal Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde, this initiative eliminates the need for physical visits to pass centers, offering a seamless application process via the NMMT Bus Tracker App.
Earlier, senior citizens had to visit the NMMT pass center or Turbhe depot to apply for free travel smart cards.
Now, with NMMT launching the Online Smart Card Scheme for senior citizens, they can complete the application online and receive the smart card at their doorstep.
The introduction of the NMMT Online Smart Card Scheme for Senior Citizens aligns with Navi Mumbai’s vision of smart mobility, reducing paperwork and ensuring smoother travel for the elderly.
