Tata Motors Wins UPSRTC Tender for 1,000 Diesel Bus Chassis
Tata Motors has secured an order from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) to supply 1,000 units of the Tata LPO 1618 diesel bus chassis.
Tata Motors, the leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, has secured a significant contract from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) for the supply of 1,000 units of the Tata LPO 1618 diesel bus chassis.
This contract was awarded to Tata Motors following a competitive e-bidding process in line with government procurement protocols. The delivery of the bus chassis will occur in phases, as agreed upon by both parties.
This order comes on the heels of a previous contract for 1,350 bus chassis that Tata Motors successfully fulfilled last year, which are currently in operation with UPSRTC and performing well.
