BEST A-84 Route Launched Via Coastal Road: Here’s Timing, Frequency . .

BEST has launched a new route, A-84, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Chowk and Oshiwara Bus Depot via the scenic coastal route.

Mumbai’s public transport just got an upgrade with the launch of the BEST A-84 Route, an all-new air-conditioned bus service. Starting 7th September 2025, the route will connect Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Chowk in South Mumbai with Oshiwara Bus Depot in the western suburbs via the city’s scenic coastal road.

This move is part of BEST’s fleet modernization plan, which focuses on introducing more AC buses for commuter comfort.

A BEST official stated, “This initiative reflects our focus on enhancing public transport while keeping passenger convenience at the forefront.”

The A-84 route is designed to improve connectivity between South and Western Mumbai. Key stops include:

• From Oshiwara Bus Depot: First bus at 7:15 AM, last bus at 5:20 PM

• Frequency: Every 40–45 minutes
• Operating Days: All 7 days of the week
