Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) is set to introduce 297 electric buses, including 24 super luxury coaches, as part of a major overhaul of the state’s public transportation system. The decision was approved during the latest meeting of the HRTC Board of Directors.

The initiative aims to improve passenger connectivity, reduce vehicular emissions, and enhance the overall travel experience, especially for tourists visiting major destinations in the state.
