The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC), under the leadership of Chairman RS Bali and Vice Chairman of the Tourism Development Board, recently introduced an innovative transportation service.

Named the Vande Bharat Bus Service, this initiative is strategically designed to enhance the tourism infrastructure in Himachal.

Specifically tailored to cater to tourists arriving via the Vande Bharat train to Kangra district, the route spans from Palampur to the Amb Andaura railway station in the Una district.

This is the first time that luxurious Volvo buses have bene deployed on this route.

Departing from Palampur at 8:00 AM, the Vande Bharat bus promises a seamless and comfortable travel experience, with a return trip scheduled to Palampur by 11:30 AM after making stops at Amb and Kangra.

The inaugural service of Himachal Tourism’s Vande Bharat Bus commenced operations on March 9, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the state’s tourism sector.

This meticulously planned route offers passengers scenic views and efficient connectivity between key destinations as it traverses through Nagrota and Kangra.

    टूरिज्म की अच्छी पहल है
    बस ज्यादा बड़ी नहीं होनी चाहिए

    1. यह 12 मीटर लंबी वोल्वो बस है। लेकिन किसी ने हमें बताया कि इस रूट पर असल में वॉल्वो की जगह छोटी 9 मीटर बसें चल रही हैं।
