MP’s First Inter-City Electric Bus Tender Won by YoloBus & Easy Green Mobility
EaseMyTrip.com, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, YoloBus and Easy Green Mobility, has secured MP’s first inter-city electric bus tender issued by Sagar City Transport Services Limited (SCTSL).
This marks a significant milestone in the state’s sustainable transport sector, reinforcing the government’s commitment to eco-friendly transit solutions.
As part of this initiative, YoloBus will operate the electric buses, while Easy Green Mobility will manufacture them, addressing the high demand for electric buses in the market.
This move aligns with Madhya Pradesh’s ambitious vision for sustainable public transport and supports India’s broader ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Deployment & Features of the New Electric Buses
Launch Date: The first batch of state-of-the-art electric buses will be deployed in August 2025.

EaseMyTrip’s Strategic Expansion in Electric Mobility
Rikant Pittie, CEO and Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip, emphasized the company’s strategic entry into in-house electric bus manufacturing:
“Our entry into electric bus manufacturing is a response to the soaring demand we’ve observed through YoloBus. The electric vehicle market, valued at USD 331.9 million in 2024, is expected to grow at a CAGR of 18.2%. With an initial investment of INR 200 crore, we aim to establish a strong presence in India’s EV and eMobility sector.”
