SYNATY LaVie+ Sleeper Coach Debuts at Prawaas 5.0 With Focus on Weight, Comfort and Privacy

SYNATY Automotive unveiled its new LaVie+ sleeper coach at Prawaas 5.0 in Gandhinagar, adding a premium sleeper product to its growing range of bus body solutions. The new coach combines ABS FR-grade construction with passenger-focused features such as memory-foam backrests, individual charging and privacy curtains between sleeper berths.

The LaVie+ is the latest addition to SYNATY’s portfolio, which includes the LaVie and Senorita models. For the Rajasthan-based coach builder, the new product reflects a broader approach of combining regulatory compliance with features aimed at improving the overnight travel experience.

Lightweight Construction Is Central to the LaVie+

One of the defining aspects of the LaVie+ is its construction. SYNATY says the coach uses ABS FR-grade material throughout the body.

According to Naresh Yadav, Managing Director, SYNATY Automotive, the material helps keep the coach lighter while supporting improvements in fuel efficiency and tyre life, without compromising the vehicle’s safety compliance. The LaVie+ is stated to comply with AIS 153 requirements.

The combination of lower body weight and sleeper-focused equipment gives the LaVie+ two distinct priorities: operator economics and passenger comfort.

Privacy Becomes Part of the Sleeper Experience

SYNATY has paid particular attention to the experience of passengers travelling overnight.

Each sleeper berth gets a memory-foam backrest and an individual pillow, while USB and USB-C charging ports are provided at every berth. One of the more notable additions is a partition curtain between adjacent sleeper berths.

It is a relatively simple feature, but one that addresses a common issue with shared sleeper accommodation: passengers travelling next to strangers get a degree of separation during the journey.

The product therefore moves beyond basic berth configuration and focuses on the small details that can influence how passengers experience an overnight trip.

From a Young Coach Builder to a Growing Operator Base

SYNATY Automotive is still a relatively young player in India’s coach-building industry. The company currently produces around 50–60 buses a month, according to Naresh Kumar.

Its reported customer base includes FlixBus, Ram Dayal Holidays, Maharani Travel, Jaipur GK Travel, Himalayas Tour and Cauvery Travels, with deployments across several parts of India. The company is also expanding into southern markets.

The LaVie+ launch at Prawaas 5.0 consequently comes at a stage when SYNATY is looking to expand its national presence while continuing to customise bus interiors around operator requirements within the applicable AIS 153 framework.

LaVie+ Moves Further Into Premium Sleeper Travel

The launch also provides context for SYNATY’s subsequent work in the long-distance sleeper segment. In August 2026, ICAT issued its first compliance certificate for a 15-metre multi-axle sleeper bus to SYNATY Automotive under AIS-119 and AIS-153.

That later certification should not be confused with the Prawaas 5.0 launch itself, but it shows the direction in which the company is expanding its sleeper-coach portfolio.

For SYNATY, the LaVie+ represents a combination of lighter construction, AIS 153 compliance and a more passenger-centric sleeper layout. As India’s intercity market becomes increasingly competitive, these details are becoming important differentiators for both operators and passengers.
