Synaty Automotive Gets ICAT’s First Certificate for 15-Metre Multi-Axle LaVie+ Sleeper Bus

Synaty Automotive has received the first compliance certificate issued by the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) for a 15-metre multi-axle sleeper bus under AIS-119 and AIS-153.
The certification, issued in accordance with the Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR), has been awarded to the company’s LaVie+ sleeper coach, Synaty’s premium long-distance passenger transportation.
The certificate was formally handed over by Saurabh Dalela, Director, ICAT, to Naresh Yadav, Managing Director, Synaty Automotive, in the presence of senior ICAT officials.
The achievement comes as India’s sleeper coach segment continues to evolve with greater emphasis on safety, structural integrity and regulatory compliance for high-capacity passenger vehicles.

The latest certification is not a standalone achievement. It is part of Synaty Automotive’s broader push towards regulatory compliance across multiple passenger vehicle segments.
Synaty was the first bus body builder in India to secure the AIS-153 certification for 13.5-meter sleeper buses in January 2026.
Recently, the company secured AIS-153 certification for its 10-metre to 13.5-metre seater bus range with underfloor luggage space, expanding its certified offerings in the intercity coach segment.
Synaty is also the first bus body builder in North India to receive AIS-153 certification from ICAT for its Type III 8-metre to 11-metre midi-mini tourist bus range, covering buses with seating capacities from 22 to 41 passengers.
With the addition of the LaVie+, Synaty now has AIS-153-certified products spanning midi buses, seater coaches and multi-axle sleeper coaches, strengthening its compliance-led product portfolio.
Safety-First Approach

“Safety and professionalism have always been at the core of Synaty Automotive. Becoming the first bus body builder in North India to achieve AIS-153 certification across multiple sleeper and seater platforms reflects our commitment to building products that meet the highest standards of quality, safety and regulatory compliance.”

Strengthening Presence in the Sleeper Coach Segment
The LaVie+ certification further strengthens Synaty’s position in India’s growing sleeper coach market, where manufacturers are increasingly investing in higher-capacity, long-distance bus platforms that comply with evolving safety standards.
For ICAT, the certification demonstrates its capability to evaluate advanced passenger vehicle configurations. For Synaty Automotive, it marks another step in expanding a portfolio built around certified, safety-focused passenger mobility solutions for the Indian bus industry.
