320 E-Bues Added: New Delhi Electric Bus Routes
Delhi added 320 electric buses to its public transportation fleet on Tuesday, marking a significant step towards expanding the Delhi electric bus route network These new buses will be operated from three depots: Sukhdev Vihar, Kalkaji, and Naraina. Here is the complete list of routes on which these buses will operate.
In line with its ambitious goal of inducting 8,000 electric buses by 2025, Delhi has been rapidly adding electric buses to its fleet.
On Tuesday, July 30, the ruling AAP government inducted 320 electric buses into Delhi’s bus fleet, taking the total number of zero-emission buses in its fleet to 1,970.
Addressing the media, Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot added that these new buses will be allocated to three depots of the Delhi Transport Corporation – Sukhdev Vihar, Kalkaji, and Naraina.
These buses will connect various areas in the city, including Ashram, Supreme Court, Dilli Gate, Aya Nagar, Sheikh Sarai Phase II, Badarpur Border, and New Delhi Railway Station.
In addition to inducting new buses, the Delhi government is also electrifying its depots. It plans to upgrade 60 depots in for the 8,000 electric buses it aims to acquire by 2025.

The DTC has strategically designed the Delhi electric bus routes to ensure comprehensive connectivity across major city locations from the three designated depots.
These routes will link key areas, including Ashram, Supreme Court, Dilli Gate, Aya Nagar, Sheikh Sarai Phase II, Badarpur Border, and New Delhi Railway Station.
