MG Group Marks 30 Years of Zaheerabad Facility, Strengthens Integrated Bus Manufacturing Focus

MG Group has completed 30 years of operations at its Zaheerabad manufacturing facility, marking a key milestone in its journey as an integrated bus body builder in India.
Established in 1996, the Zaheerabad facility has evolved from a modest setup into a high-volume, fully integrated manufacturing hub, supporting the company’s growth across multiple bus segments over three decades.
The company said the anniversary reflects its long-term focus on innovation, safety, and passenger experience across the passenger-vehicle segment. Over the past three decades, MG Group has built capabilities across multiple bus segments, including school buses, staff transportation, mofussil routes, and premium coaches.
Commenting on the milestone, CMD Anil Mohan Kamat highlighted the company’s focus on integrated manufacturing, engineering excellence, and better passenger experiences.
“India’s mobility ecosystem is transforming rapidly, making safe, scalable bus solutions more critical than ever. MG Group is investing in manufacturing, engineering, and compliance to deliver high-quality mobility and shape the future of transport in India.”
