CTU launches Chandigarh to Delhi Airport Buses

Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) has announced Chandigarh to Prayagraj bus service for devotees traveling to Maha Kumbh 2025.

Starting today, January 23, 2025, this daily service will run until February 26, 2025, providing a direct and convenient travel option for pilgrims.

The bus departs from Sector-17 ISBT at 12 noon and arrives in Prayagraj at 8:30 AM the next day, covering a 924 km journey in 19 hours. The fare is approximately ₹1,600 per passenger.

UT Transport Secretary Diprava Lakra, who flagged off the first bus from ISBT’s Counter No. 27, stated, “This initiative ensures a smooth, affordable, and direct travel option for pilgrims.”

Although CTU had announced that the bus service could be booked online on its official bus booking site, we couldn’t find this service listed when we tried.
