Prawaas 2024 dates and venue announced: Prawaas 4.0 to focus on school bus segment
Prawaas 2024 dates have been announced by BOCI during the curtain raiser. Prawaas 4.0 is scheduled to take place from August 29-31 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).
The wait is finally over! The Bus and Car Operators Confederation of India (BOCI) has unveiled the dates for the 4th edition of Prawaas.
Prawaas 4.0 will be held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) from August 29-31.
During the curtain raiser for the event held on March 22, BOCI also unveiled the theme of Prawaas 4.0 – “Safe, Smart, and Sustainable Passenger Mobility”.
The three-day event will focus mainly on the School bus segment, Tourism, Electric Vehicles (EV), and Metro systems.

Prawaas 4.0 is set to bring together over 100 expert speakers, 200 exhibitors, and 1500 industry delegates.
Plus, there will be more than 6,000 bus and car operators attending, with an expected total of over 10,000 business visitors.
Ramalinga Reddy, the Honourable Minister for Transport and Muzrai, Government of Karnataka, emphasized the crucial role of Prawaas in uniting the Bus, Taxi, and Transport industry over the past three years.
Speaking at the curtain raiser, he highlighted the importance of addressing regulatory needs and system improvements to enhance the quality of life and industry growth.

Currently, private businesses possess 92% of buses in India, while a significant 85% of the population depends exclusively on public transit. We urgently need to rethink public transportation, bridge the gap between private and public options, and reform taxes to boost bus usage.”
