JBM Enters UAE: Partners with Al Habtoor Motors to Launch Electric Buses
JBM enters UAE in partnership with AL Habtoor Motors. Collaboration aims to introduce state-of-the-art electric buses and strengthen UAE’s vision for sustainable public transport.

JBM Electric Vehicles (P) Ltd, part of JBM Auto Ltd., has officially entered the UAE market through a landmark partnership with Al Habtoor Motors. The collaboration will introduce JBM’s next-generation electric buses to the country, supporting the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative.
Under this partnership, Al Habtoor Motors will act as the exclusive importer and distributor of JBM e-buses, ensuring nationwide deployment, service infrastructure, and aftersales support. Together, the companies aim to modernize public transport while cutting emissions and operating costs.
Earlier in June, JBM entered the European market with the launch of the ECOLIFE electric bus at the UITP Global Public Transport Summit 2025.

UAE Rollout Plan
Al Habtoor Motors will introduce JBM e-buses across multiple segments, including:
- Urban city services
- Staff and school transport
- Tarmac shuttles
- Intercity and tourist coaches
Equipped with lithium-ion battery systems, advanced safety, and smart charging, the buses are designed for UAE’s climate and meet national EV standards.
With one of the world’s largest integrated bus manufacturing facilities in India, JBM can produce up to 20,000 e-buses annually. Its fleet has already clocked 200 million km, served over 1 billion passengers, and saved 350 million litres of diesel. JBM now pledges to cross 3 billion km globally in the next 3 years.
