From June 2027, Nobina will operate Malmö’s bus services with a fleet that’s 95% electric. Two new depots will support operations, and full zero-emission is planned beyond 2032.

Earlier in October 2023, Solaris had won a contract to deliver 55 buses for Stockholm and 28 for Skåne. Then in early 2025, Nobina ordered 89 Solaris Urbino 15 LE buses.

“We’re proud to build on our long-term partnership with Nobina, a leader in Sweden’s zero‑emission transport. With years of Nordic experience, we’re glad to support Malmö’s shift toward an all-electric public transit system.”
