On June 15, the HRTC launched its first-ever non-stop Delhi to Leh bus service. Previously, the Delhi to Leh route included an overnight halt at Keylong.
The new bus service is both time and cost-efficient, receiving a tremendous response within just a week of its launch.
“Previously, the bus journey included an overnight stop at Keylong in the Lahaul and Spiti district, which extended the travel time and increased costs for passengers. According to HRTC officials, it has become one of the corporation’s most profitable services to date, earning around Rs 1.23 lakh per day.
