VRL Logistics Orders 715 Vehicles from Ashok Leyland

VRL Logistics has placed an order for 715 vehicles with Ashok Leyland as part of its ongoing fleet expansion and operational growth strategy.

The order includes AVTR 3120 haulage trucks, BOSS 1615 trucks, and Oyster staff buses. Ashok Leyland said 300 vehicles have already been delivered, while the remaining units are scheduled for delivery during the current year.

The latest order further strengthens the long-standing partnership between VRL Logistics and Ashok Leyland, both of whom have worked together for decades across India’s logistics and transportation sector.

Dr. Anand Sankeshwar said the company continues to rely on Ashok Leyland’s vehicle performance, reliability, and after-sales support to maintain operational efficiency across its network.

He added that the fresh order of 715 vehicles further strengthens VRL Logistics’ partnership with Ashok Leyland and is expected to enhance operational efficiency and support long-term growth.

The newly ordered vehicles are equipped with advanced technologies aimed at improving fleet productivity, reducing maintenance downtime, and increasing vehicle uptime.

Madhavi Deshmukh, National Sales Head – MHCV, Ashok Leyland, said the order reflects the continued trust VRL Logistics has placed in Ashok Leyland’s products and technology platforms.

She added that the two companies have collaborated over the years in developing products suited to the evolving needs of the logistics industry.
