In a major development for Pune residents who frequently face traffic bottlenecks, the Pune Traffic Police have introduced new private bus routes and strict regulations for private buses and travel operators.

These new private bus rules in Pune aim to streamline bus movement, reduce illegal halts, and ease congestion across key city corridors.

A meeting chaired by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) with representatives from luxury travel and private bus associations resulted in several significant decisions that are now being enforced.
