The Andhra Pradesh Government has approved a Rs 4,640 crore investment by German digital OEM Pepper Motion GmbH to establish an electric bus manufacturing plant in Chittoor’s Punganur.
The Andhra Pradesh electric bus manufacturing plant is among ten other projects approved by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting.
Emphasizing the importance of staying abreast of global industrial trends, YS Jagan approved projects worth Rs 19,037 crore during the SIPB meeting, with an employment potential of about 69,565.
The Chief Minister urged officials to adapt the state’s industrial policy to align with evolving industry dynamics. He reaffirmed the commitment to enhancing conditions for investors and fostering further industrial growth in Andhra Pradesh.
