KSRTC Launches Munnar Double-Decker Bus with 360 Degree Panoramic View
The Munnar double-decker bus is KSRTC’s latest addition to Kerala’s tourism offerings. Designed to give tourists an extraordinary sightseeing experience, this unique bus aims to offer a 360-degree view of Munnar’s stunning landscapes.
The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) launched a new double-decker bus in Munnar on December 31.
Flagged off by Transport Minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar in Thiruvananthapuram, the “Munnar Royal View” bus is equipped with transparent glass panels on both the roof and sides, offering an unobstructed view of the hill station.
The launch event was also graced by several notable personalities, including Kadakampally MLA Surendran and KSRTC CMD Pramoj Shankar.

A Step Towards Budget Tourism

Munnar Double-Decker Bus Details
The Munnar double-decker bus has a seating capacity of 38 on the upper deck and 12 on the lower deck. The upper deck provides the best views, while the lower deck ensures a cozy experience for all passengers.
The bus also features a modern music system, a public information system, and a lighting system for evening safaris in the hills.
For added comfort, the Munnar double-decker bus provides essential amenities such as drinking water, snacks, drinks, and mobile charging points. These features make the journey even more enjoyable for visitors exploring the picturesque hills.
