LeafyBus, a New Delhi-based electric bus operator, has raised the bar in the e-bus industry by achieving 900 kilometers in just 24 hours.

Utilizing India’s first 360 KW fast-charging infrastructure, the company operates three daily trips on the Delhi-Dehradun route, showcasing its operational expertise and cutting-edge tech solutions.

This significant achievement is a critical step in addressing India’s growing need for reliable charging infrastructure to support long-distance electric vehicle travel. It also provides a practical solution for making high-cost electric buses more economically viable.

LeafyBus has partnered with EV infrastructure provider GLIDA India (formerly Fortum Charge & Drive India) to introduce India’s first commercial 360 KW fast-charging station.

Currently, LeafyBus is the only electric bus operator in the country to leverage this advanced technology, reducing charging times to under 50 minutes. This innovation allows the buses to operate efficiently with minimal downtime, maintaining high-frequency schedules across multiple routes daily.
