The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has unveiled an extensive strategy to manage the surge in transportation demand during the Maha Shivaratri festival.

Acknowledging the heightened necessity for mobility during this sacred occasion, the corporation has revealed plans for 1500 KSRTC Shivrati special buses between March 7 and 10.

These additional services are strategically scheduled to accommodate passengers during the festival and the upcoming weekend.

The majority of these Shivratri special buses will originate from Bengaluru’s Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic).

The destinations include Dharmastala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, and other locations.
