NueGo Launches Delhi-Lucknow Bus Service: India’s Longest Electric bus Route

NueGo launches Delhi-Lucknow bus service, offering an all-electric, sustainable intercity travel option covering the route in 10 hours at ₹999. This marks a major step in India’s green mobility drive.

All-electric bus operator NueGo has launched a Delhi–Lucknow bus service, marking a significant milestone in India’s electric intercity travel landscape.

NueGo will introduce fully sleeper buses with a 2×1 seating configuration on this key northern route, offering fares starting at just ₹999.

Covering the 500 km distance in approximately 10 hours, Delhi-Lucknow is NueGo’s longest intercity route to date. As of date, it is also the longest electric bus route in India.

Earlier in February 2025, NueGo had launched India’s first intercity electric sleeper bus.

The Delhi–Lucknow service offers premium features such as real-time GPS tracking, CCTV surveillance, airport-like lounges, and well-trained onboard staff.

Special safety provisions for women include a Pink Seat option, a 24×7 helpline, and speed caps at 80 km/h.

This new route builds on NueGo’s successful Kashmir to Kanyakumari (E-K2K) electric expedition, proving the reliability of e-buses in long-distance and diverse terrain travel.
