Canary Islands’ Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife S.A.U. (TITSA) reinforces its commitment to sustainability by opting for a batch of Scania hybrid buses, marking a significant stride towards a greener future.

With over 60% of its existing fleet sourced from Scania, TITSA’s latest deal includes 231 new buses, with a substantial 173 units being hybrid buses. This decision positions the company among the leaders in green mobility in Spain and Portugal.

The 231 new buses, including the 173 hybrid buses, come with a robust four-year guarantee, with the hybrid vehicle batteries assured for seven years.

Scheduled for delivery over the next two years, these buses are built by built by Castrosua.
