TAMILNADU TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT JOIN HANDS WITH TNSTC ENTHUSIASTS
Dr.Radhakrishnan IAS., Principal Secretary, Tamilnadu Transport Department, meets Tamilnadu based young team of bus fans, TNSTC Enthusiasts to discuss possibilities of voluntary service.
TNSTC Enthusiasts is one of the most most dedicated base of bus fans in the entire country. In a first of its kind step, the young bunch of bus fans approached the Tamilnadu Transport Department with a proposal of voluntary services.
Intrigued by the one-off idea, Dr.Radhakrishnan IAS., Principal Secretary, Tamilnadu Transport Department met the team to discuss about the association.
The meeting deliberated over a slew of topics including volunteering TNSTC Crews during special occasions & festivals, spreading awareness of public transport and promoting TNSTC routes through pronounced use of digital medium.
As a TNSTC follower himself, the Secretary appreciated the team for their interest towards government transport development and referred the team to Managing Directors of MTC, Chennai and SETC at Pallavan House (MTC Head Office), which too end on a positive note.
Santhapriyan Kamaraj, Founder/Admin, TNSTC Enthusiasts told Coach Builders India – CBI, “Overall we are very happy with the response that we have received. Especially, Dr.Radhakrishnan was all ears and we would really like to thank him for the time he gave us as well as refering us to the higher authorities in both MTC and SETC. We are hoping for a positive response very soon.”
