PMPML Begins Renewal of Free Bus Passes for Disabled and Special Citizens

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), through Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML), has initiated the renewal process for free bus passes for disabled individuals and special citizens for the financial year 2025–26. This includes categories such as freedom fighters, President’s medal winners, and national athletes.
Passes issued for FY 2024–25 expired on March 31, and the renewal drive began today, continuing until April 30, 2025. The process was officially launched by PMPML Chairperson and Managing Director Deepa Mudhol-Munde at the Swargate headquarters, where passes were distributed to ten disabled citizens to mark the start of the initiative.

Required Documents and Instructions
Eligible individuals must carry the following documents to complete their renewal:
- Original pass from FY 2024–25
- Photocopy of Aadhaar card
- Two passport-size colour photographs
The PMC has urged all qualifying individuals to renew their passes within the given timeline to ensure uninterrupted access to PMPML bus services. Until renewed, last year’s passes will remain valid for travel until April 30, 2025.
