Haryana Roadways Accident Today in Jhajjar: Driver Killed, 23 Injured
A Haryana Roadways accident today in Jhajjar claimed the life of a tanker driver and left 23 bus passengers critically injured. According to sources, the accident was caused by the tanker losing control because of a tire burst.
Jhajjar: A tanker driver lost his life and 23 passengers were critically injured when a Haryana Roadways bus collided with a truck on June 6.
The accident happened near the Dhurana village, located in the Beri tehsil of Jhajjar district.
The injured were referred to PGIMS, Rohtak. Their conditions are said to be critical.
According to the local police the accident was caused by a tire burst. Subsequently, the tanker driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the oncoming Haryana Roadways bus. The driver of the tanker died on the spot.
The deceased tanker driver has been identified as Raj Bahadur, a native of Uttar Pradesh.

The Roadways bus belonged to the Jhajjar depot and was traveling from Bilaspur to Bhiwani. There were about 25 passengers on board during the accident.
A case has been registered at the Beri Police Station. DSP Shamsher Singh stated that the police are investigating the more possible causes of the accident.
