TSRTC Implements 43.2% Dearness Allowance for Employees

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has finalized a wage revision, introducing a 43.2% Dearness Allowance (DA) for its workforce.

This DA will be integrated into the basic salary post-revision and disbursed as part of the monthly pay.

Moreover, following the salary revision, the recent adjustment in House Rent Allowance (HRA) by the State government will also be applicable to RTC employees.

This HRA update is anticipated to enhance the overall remuneration of RTC employees substantially.

Previously, concerns arose among RTC employees when recent paychecks did not reflect the anticipated increase.

To address this, the existing 31.8% DA will be amalgamated into the basic pay, effectively totaling 43.2% DA.

While government employees await four installments of DA arrears, RTC employees continue to receive their Dearness Allowances regularly.

In the past, seven installments of DA arrears were announced for RTC employees, and prompt action by TSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar, along with persistent demands from labor unions, led to the clearance of these dues.

With all past dues settled, RTC employees in Telangana can now expect salaries based on the revised DA, marking a positive development for their financial well-being.

In other news, the corporation has announced the addition of 60 TSRTC IPL Buses to Uppal Stadium for the upcoming cricket matches on March 27 and April 5.
