BEST Adds 24 New AC Buses in Mumbai’s North-Eastern Suburbs

In a move to modernise public transport and improve connectivity in Mumbai, BEST adds 24 new AC buses in Mumbai’s north-eastern suburbs. On Tuesday, the public transport body introduced 24 new AC buses as part of its second phase of service enhancement.
This expansion focuses on north-eastern suburbs of the city, aiming to bridge existing service gaps caused by a dwindling bus fleet.

A BEST spokesperson stated that this expansion follows last week’s introduction of AC services on routes A-7, A-511, and RC53.

Enhancing Commuter Experience and Comfort

“The addition of these AC buses is expected to provide a more comfortable and efficient travel option,” said a BEST spokesperson.
The decision aligns with BEST’s ongoing strategy to modernise its fleet and serve growing suburban populations more effectively.
