OSRTC Route Expansion: 13 New Bus Services Launched Across Odisha
In a major move to improve public transportation, the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) has launched 13 new bus services across nine new routes in Odisha.
OSRTC’s route expansion aims to enhance regional connectivity and provide more affordable travel options for the residents of Odisha.
The virtual flag-off ceremony was held on Friday, with Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena leading the event from Kharvela Bhawan.

Purpose of the OSRTC Route Expansion
The newly launched routes are designed to provide a more extensive and efficient public transport network across the state.

The following new routes have been introduced as part of the OSRTC route expansion initiative:
- Siddha Bhairavi to Puri
- Ganiya (Kantilo) to Puri
- Kotpad to Puri
- Joranda to Puri
- Paralakhemundi to Puri
- Indravati to Bhubaneswar
- Berhampur to Bhubaneswar
- Kundura to Cuttack
- Berhampur to Rourkela
These routes are expected to improve connectivity for people traveling between urban and rural areas, offering seamless travel options to key locations in Odisha.
