Redington Limited, a leading integrated technology solutions provider and a Fortune India 500 company, has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch ‘Connecting India – Innovation on Wheels’.
It’s a nationwide Bus Yatra designed to accelerate cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) adoption among startups, small and medium businesses (SMBs), and MSMEs across India’s emerging markets.
The initiative was formally inaugurated in Bengaluru in the presence of Rajat Vohra, India CEO of Redington Limited, and Sandeep Dutta, President – India and South Asia at AWS, along with senior leadership teams from both organisations.
The multi-city campaign aims to bring hands-on technology guidance, cloud expertise, and real-world digital transformation use cases directly to enterprises operating beyond India’s metropolitan centres.
Beginning its journey from Bengaluru, the Bus Yatra is part of a broader effort by Redington and AWS to engage with rapidly growing Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, where businesses are increasingly embracing digital tools to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
Through this initiative, regional enterprises will gain direct access to expert consultations, technology demonstrations, and tailored advisory sessions focused on modernising IT infrastructure and enabling scalable, AI-driven operations.

The Yatra is scheduled to cover key business hubs including Chennai, Mumbai, Indore, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Kolkata. At each stop, businesses will be offered practical insights into transitioning from legacy IT systems to cloud-first architectures.
The programme will also highlight how AI-powered analytics, secure cloud environments, and data-driven decision-making can help organisations unlock new growth opportunities and improve operational resilience.
Speaking at the launch, Rajat Vohra emphasised the growing importance of regional markets in India’s digital economy. He stated that the next phase of the country’s technology-driven growth will be fuelled by enterprises in non-metro regions, which are emerging as strong centres for manufacturing, services, and innovation.
He added that the Bus Yatra aims to deliver advanced technology capabilities directly to these growth markets, enabling businesses to build future-ready supply chains and adopt scalable, digital-first business models.
The Bengaluru launch event also brought together ecosystem partners, customers, and industry stakeholders to discuss how cloud and AI technologies are transforming business models across industries such as BFSI, manufacturing, SaaS, retail, and digital-native enterprises.
Discussions highlighted the role of secure cloud infrastructure and data intelligence in enabling organisations to compete effectively in domestic as well as global markets.
The initiative further strengthens Redington’s position as a technology transformation partner, supporting enterprises throughout their cloud adoption journey through advisory, implementation, and ecosystem-driven enablement services.
Over the coming months, each Bus Yatra stop will feature interactive workshops, partner engagements, and sector-specific discussions focusing on cloud adoption trends and AI innovation.
The programme reflects Redington and AWS’s shared vision of democratising access to advanced technologies and promoting inclusive digital growth across India.
Through ‘Connecting India – Innovation on Wheels,’ both companies aim to create a future-ready technology ecosystem that empowers businesses across the country to harness the full potential of cloud and AI-driven transformation.
