In a move that promises to enhance long-distance travel in Karnataka, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has added 20 new Ambari Utsav luxury sleeper Volvo buses to its fleet.

As long-distance travel continues to grow, KSRTC has responded to the increasing demand for sleeper buses, offering a comfortable and efficient travel option. The introduction of these 20 new Ambari Utsav Volvo sleeper buses effectively addresses this demand.

Recently, KSRTC has been expanding its fleet with luxurious Volvo buses as part of its efforts to modernize public transportation in Karnataka.

In October 2024, CM Siddaramaiah launched 20 new Airavat Club Class luxury 2.0 buses.

In November, the KSRTC introduced the UPI payment option for ticket purchases in major cities, including Bengaluru and Mysuru.
