Tata Ultra EV 7M Launched at Prawaas 4.0 | Specifications
Tata Motors has launched the all-new Tata Ultra electric bus at Prawaas 4.0. Tailored for intra-city urban mass mobility, the Tata Ultra EV 7M offers a range of up to 160 km on a single charge. It supports fast charging, reaching full charge in just 2.5 hours.
Commercial vehicle behemoth Tata Motors unveiled an all-new version of the Tata Ultra electric bus at Prawaas 4.0, held at BIEC Bengaluru from August 29 to August 31, 2024.
Called the Tata Ultra EV 7M, the electric Tata Ultra 21-seater bus has been designed specifically to excel in narrow lanes and congested city streets.
The Tata Ultra electric bus is powered by a 213kW electric motor and an IP67-rated 200kWh Li-ion battery. With a range of up to 160 km on a single charge, it supports fast charging, reaching full charge in just 2.5 hours.
Along with the Tata Ultra EV 7M, Tata Motors showcased a range of innovative passenger transport solutions in Prawaas 2024, including the following:

The fully electric drivetrain of the Tata Ultra EV 7M is enhanced by a suite of advanced safety features, including an electronic braking system and electronic stability control.
This bus is also fitted with an Automatic Passenger Counter and adheres to high safety and security standards through its Intelligent Transport System (ITS).
Furthermore, the integration of regenerative braking technology not only improves efficiency but also extends the range.
