Karnataka Bus Accident Today: 4 Killed in Yadgir After RTC Bus Collides with Goods Vehicle
Four people, including three women from the same family, lost their lives in a fatal Karnataka bus accident today in Yadgir district following a head-on collision between an RTC bus and a goods vehicle.

A tragic bus accident in Karnataka’s Yadgir district claimed the lives of four individuals on Friday, after a collision between a state-run RTC bus and a goods vehicle on the national highway near Muddaraki village in Shahapur taluk.
The deceased include Sharanappa (30), Sunitha (19), Somavva (50), and Tangamma (55), all from Varkanahalli village near Yadgir. They were on their way to the Bhagyavanthi Temple in Ghattaragi, located in Kalaburagi district, when the crash occurred.
According to police reports, three victims died instantly at the scene, while the fourth succumbed to injuries at a nearby hospital.
Several others traveling in the goods vehicle sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment.
Cause of the Karneteke Bus Accident Today
Yadgir Superintendent of Police, Pruthvik Shakar, visited the site shortly after the incident. Preliminary findings point to rash and negligent driving as the likely cause of the head-on collision. A more detailed investigation is underway to determine the exact sequence of events leading to the crash.
