HRTC Nalagarh to Ayodhya bus announced: Check distance, route and timing
In a significant move to promote religious tourism, the Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Mukesh Agnihotri, has announced the inclusion of Ayodhya in the HRTC Darshan Seva Yojana service.
Agnihotri further announced a special HRTC Nalagarh to Ayodhya bus service to facilitate pilgrimage to the newly inaugurated Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
On January 15, 2024, during his speech at the cultural evening at the Lohri fair in Kirpalpur, Nalagarh Agnihotri shared the news of the introduction of nearly 100 new bus routes under the HRTC Darshan Seva Yojana.
This strategic move is poised to enhance transportation options for pilgrims and tourists, facilitating seamless journeys to explore the cultural and religious heritage of Himachal Pradesh.
Moreover, six new HRTC bus routes connecting Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh to Ayodhya are set to be launched shortly.
Apart from interstate connectivity, new bus routes will be introduced from Himachal to religious locations of nearby states as well.
Key routes highlighted during the announcement included the eagerly awaited Nalagarh to Ayodhya bus route, as well as routes from Nalagarh to Vrindavan and Baddi to Amritsar.

When Will the Nalagarh to Ayodhya Bus Start?
While there has been no official date announced by the Himachal Government, according to Agnihotri, the HRTC will launch the Nalagarh to Ayodhya Bus route soon.
During a press conference held after presiding over the 155th meeting of the Board of Directors of HRTC, Agnihotri mentioned that despite the considerable length of the route, negotiations are underway with the Uttar Pradesh state government to initiate the Nalagarh to Ayodhya bus service.
Apart from the Nalgarh to Ayodhya bus route, six more routes are going to be started from Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh to Ayodhya soon.
In preparation, a team from the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has already reached Ayodhya to conduct feasibility research.
HRTC Ayodhya Bus Route, Distance and Timing
As per sources, the Nalagarh to Ayodha bus will cover a distance of 925 kilometers in about 20 hours.
The route will be via Baddi, Chandigarh, Meerut, Rampur, Bareilly, Seetapur, and Lucknow.
Both sides are expected to have a tentative departure at 4:00 PM, ensuring a convenient and timely travel experience for passengers.
However, it’s important to note that as of now, neither the HRTC nor the Himachal government has made any official announcement regarding the Nalagarh to Ayodhya bus service.
