Hop-on Hop-off Double-Decker Electric Tourist Buses Launched in Visakhapatnam: Know Route, Fare and Other details
The double-decker electric tourist buses will cover various tourist spots along a 16-kilometre stretch on Beach Road in Vishakhapatnam.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the Hop-on Hop-off double-decker tourist electric buses in Visakhapatnam on Friday. The initiative is aimed at boosting tourism in the city while promoting eco-friendly mobility.
The buses will run along a 16-kilometre stretch on Beach Road, starting from RK Beach and extending up to Thotlakonda Buddhist Monastery, covering several prominent tourist attractions.
During the launch, the Chief Minister flagged off the service and personally took a ride in one of the buses, interacting with tourists and reviewing the arrangements.

Affordable Ticketing with Subsidies
The 24-hour ticket for the Hop-on Hop-off service is priced at ₹500. However, CM Naidu announced a government subsidy of 50%, making the ticket available at just ₹250 per tourist.
This pricing strategy is expected to encourage more tourists to explore Visakhapatnam’s coastline without financial constraints.
