September 10, 2024, New Delhi: AbhiBus, a key player in India’s bus ticketing industry and part of ixigo’s bus division, has announced a strategic partnership with FlixBus, Europe’s largest intercity bus service.
This collaboration aims to provide Indian travelers with a broader range of travel options, offering FlixBus tickets through AbhiBus’s platform starting at just Rs.99.
FlixBus, which debuted in the Indian market in February 2024, is rapidly expanding its services. Last week, Founder & CEO, André Schwämmlein announced FlixBus’ entry into South India just seven months after its initial launch in the country.
The new routes include major cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad, with plans to extend further to Coimbatore, Madurai, Tirupati, and Vijayawada. This expansion leverages AbhiBus’s extensive reach and technological capabilities in the South Indian region.
The partnership promises to elevate the travel experience for passengers by delivering reliable services, comfortable seating, and punctual schedules at competitive rates. The integration with AbhiBus enables travelers to seamlessly browse routes, compare prices, and book tickets through a user-friendly platform.
