“At present, nine of such buses have been deployed after thorough inspection. These are the first BS VI compliant public transport buses in the entire country,” a DIMTS official was quoted by TOI.

The JBM Group has supplied 100 low floor buses for the Cluster scheme in March 2020 but they were BS IV compliant. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that the state government plans to deploy a total of 9,000 buses within the next year, to turn the national capital’s transport sector into a modern and model sector.
