Chennai Airport to Siruseri: MTC Electric Bus Timing, Route

MTC launches air-conditioned electric buses from Chennai Airport to Siruseri along the Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR).

The Municipal Transport Corporation (MTC) has launched a new electric bus service with air-conditioning. The new bus service will link Chennai Airport to Siruseri.

The service is designed to improve passenger convenience, particularly for people going towards the IT corridor along Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR).

Growing Airport Connectivity

Since April 25, MTC has been operating dedicated city bus routes from Chennai Airport. Currently, the following two routes are operational

• Chennai Airport to Kilambakkam Bus Terminus
• Chennai Airport to Akkarai

The addition of the Airport–Siruseri route comes after repeated requests from passengers seeking direct public transport access to OMR’s IT hubs.

The new service will connect Chennai Airport to Siruseri, passing through:

• Pallavaram
• Keelkattalai Junction
• Echankadu
• Pallikaranai Junction
• Sholinganallur
• Thoraipakkam
• OMR IT corridor
