The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has introduced a new air-conditioned bus route, BMTC V-500SB, offering six services daily between Banashankari TTMC and Sarjapur Bus Station.

The V-500SB will ply via Silk Board Junction, Agara, Doddakannalli, Kodathi Gate, and Dommasandra, catering to commuters along one of Bengaluru’s busiest east–south corridors.

BMTC V-500SB Timings

• From Banashankari TTMC: First departure at 6:20 am, last at 8:05 pm
• From Sarjapur Bus Station: First departure at 7:55 am, last at 9:45 pm

The addition of this service aims to improve connectivity, comfort, and last-mile accessibility for passengers travelling between the tech hub belt and southern residential areas.

With air-conditioning and a direct route, BMTC hopes to attract both daily office-goers and casual commuters seeking a more comfortable alternative to existing options.

The BMTC V-500SB launch comes as part of BMTC’s ongoing effort to expand its premium AC services and decongest key traffic choke points such as Silk Board Junction.
