EcoFuel Secures Diesel-to-CNG Bus Retrofitting Order for 850 Buses in Tamil Nadu

EcoFuel has secured a major diesel-to-CNG bus retrofitting order to convert 850 buses in Tamil Nadu, reinforcing its leadership in sustainable mobility.

EcoFuel Systems (India) Ltd., a pioneer in diesel-to-CNG bus retrofitting, has won a landmark order to convert 850 diesel buses to CNG across Tamil Nadu. The project, part of the state’s clean transport initiative, will be executed within 12 months, establishing Tamil Nadu as a leader in sustainable public transport.

With this contract, EcoFuel’s converted fleet in India will surpass 1,500 buses, cementing its leadership in the retrofit space. The company will equip buses across multiple state depots with its certified CNG kits, known for high safety standards, seamless integration, and fuel efficiency.
