Solaris Bus & Coach has signed a significant deal to deliver 10 Trollino 18 articulated trolleybuses to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. With this order, Sarajevo joins the growing list of cities around the world benefiting from Solaris’ innovative transportation solutions.
The order was secured from the Ministry of Transport of the Canton of Sarajevo, with the delivery of the Trollino 18 vehicles scheduled for mid-2026.
These modern, 18-meter-long, zero-emission trolleybuses will provide Sarajevo with a more sustainable and efficient public transport system.
The procurement tender for these trolleybuses was conducted and financed in collaboration with the European Investment Bank (EIB).
Equipped with advanced battery technology, these trolleybuses will have the ability to cover up to 20 kilometers without being connected to the overhead catenary system, offering more flexibility and improved operation across Sarajevo’s urban landscape.
