Minister of State for Transport, Harsh Sanghavi flagged off 10 GSRTC Volvos in Surat on December 14. These state-of-the-art luxury buses will connect key routes across Surat, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Rajkot.

In a major boost to Gujarat’s public transport system, the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has introduced 10 new Volvo 9600 buses. These premium buses will connect key cities, including Surat, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Rajkot, offering commuters a luxurious and efficient travel experience.

Volvo buses are known for their superior quality and are designed to deliver unmatched comfort. Featuring 47 spacious 2×2 leather push-back seats, advanced suspension systems, and modern amenities, the new GSRTC Volvo 9600 buses aim to make long-distance travel not just convenient but also enjoyable.

The 13.5m long Volvo 9600 buses have a fire protection system, CCTV camera vigil, and an emergency exit window with a ladder to improve safety and security.
