In the latest electric bus news, Stagecoach has pre-ordered 20 AD Enviro100EV buses before their official launch, and production is in progress for anticipated delivery in the first half of 2024.

Supported by the Scottish Government’s ScotZEB challenge fund, these vehicles will be assigned to operating companies in Scotland.

The Enviro100EV battery electric bus has just been launched by Alexander Dennis (AD) on November 1, 2023, along with the Enviro400EV double decker electric bus.

These models are part of an expanded family of next-generation zero-emission buses, that the company had anouncement in August 2022.

This is also the first electric bus that AD has indigenously designed and developed.
