Solaris Bus & Coach has unveiled its Urbino 10.5 electric midibus at Mobility Move 2026 in Berlin. The zero-emission bus is built on the company’s modular drive concept and was recently recognised with the Sustainable Bus Award 2026.

Mobility Move 2026, taking place from 10–12 March in Berlin, brings together public transport operators, manufacturers and industry stakeholders to discuss developments in sustainable urban mobility.

The Solaris Urbino 10.5 electric is designed as a compact midibus for routes where standard 12-metre buses are not suitable. With a length of 10.5 metres, the vehicle combines manoeuvrability with relatively high passenger capacity.

The bus is built using Solaris’ modular drive architecture, which integrates drivetrain components without the traditional engine tower.

This design increases passenger space and allows the vehicle to carry up to 85 passengers, including up to 33 seated, one of the highest capacities in the midibus segment.

The bus also features a turning radius of under 17 metres, making it suitable for narrow streets, dense urban corridors, and historic city centres.

The vehicle is powered by a 240 kW electric motor and can be equipped with high-energy batteries of up to 400 kWh capacity, enabling full-day operation without intermediate charging.

The model supports both plug-in and pantograph charging systems.

The Urbino 10.5 electric also complies with GSR2 safety standards and can be fitted with additional driver assistance systems.

It features an energy-efficient CO2 heat pump to improve thermal management while maintaining low energy consumption.

By combining compact dimensions with zero-emission propulsion and flexible charging options, the model is positioned for urban feeder routes, dense city centres and smaller transit corridors.
