Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, has announced a free bus service for all students from LKG to PUC in state-run Karnataka Public Schools (KPS). 

This landmark initiative is designed to boost enrolment and reduce dropouts among students. This initiative is especially designed for those from economically weaker sections and remote areas.
