How PUC students can travel for free on BMTC buses
All II PUC students can travel for free on BMTC buses just by showing their hall/admission ticket.
There is good news for all PUC students.
The BMTC has announced free bus rides for PUC exam students on the date of their examination.
Students can avail free bus rides on BMTC buses from their residences to the examination centers by presenting their hall/admission ticket.
The II PUC exams are slated to be held from March 1 to 22.
However, it should be noted that this scheme is only applicable to ordinary buses operated by the BMTC.

According to BMTC, the free bus trips will not only cover all trips on exam days but also include additional trips as needed.
PUC Examination
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is preparing for the final exams for SSLC and PUC students.
The SSLC exams will be held from March 25 to April 6 across 2,747 designated centers, while the second pre-university (II PU) assessments will take place from March 1 to March 22 at 1,124 examination venues.
In other news, four new BMTC routes were launched today. This includes 12 low-floor Volvo buses that will be operated under the Vayu Vajra service and 12 ordinary buses.
Transport and Muzrai Minister Ramalinga Reddy inaugurated 20 buses designated for four new BMTC routes, namely KIA-8D, V-500HS, V-368, and 368.

No. Even if you do not have a BMTC Student Bus Pass, you can still avail the free ride. All you need to do is show your hall ticket.
Are there any specific routes where the scheme is applicable?
No. This scheme applies to all BMTC buses across Bengaluru.
Is the free bus for PUC students applicable on AC buses?
No. This scheme is only applicable to ordinary buses operated by the BMTC.
