AbhiBus Partners with T-Safe to Enhance Bus Commuter Safety

AbhiBus, ixigo’s bus business and a leading bus ticketing platform in India, has announced a strategic partnership with T-Safe, a safety initiative by the Telangana Police.
This collaboration is focused on improving commuter safety, particularly for women travellers, by leveraging technology to create a secure and reliable travel environment.

Key Features of the Partnership
- Integration of T-Safe’s Emergency Response System into the AbhiBus platform.
- Instant SOS Alerts: Travellers can trigger an SOS directly via the AbhiBus app, notifying the T-Safe team for swift police intervention.
- WhatsApp SOS Link: Passengers will receive an SOS link via WhatsApp, allowing them to share their real-time status.
- 24/7 Safety Support: The SOS feature remains active four hours before travel, during the journey, and up to four hours post-deboarding for continuous security within Telangana.
- Real-Time Location Monitoring: Enables Telangana Police to track passenger locations, detect route deviations, unexpected stops, and respond promptly to distress alerts.
